Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and RedLurk (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the RedLurk platform, including all features, tools, and content available at redlurk.vercel.app and its subdomains (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization and represent that you have the authority to do so.

RedLurk is a market research and validation platform designed to help entrepreneurs, indie hackers, developers, and founders discover profitable niches, analyze market trends, and generate outreach content. The Service accomplishes this by:

• Automatically identifying relevant Reddit communities based on a user-specified niche or market
• Scraping publicly available posts and comments from Reddit to extract market signals
• Using AI to select the most relevant threads and generate human-sounding draft replies for each
• Forecasting market trends based on historical Reddit data
• Generating Reddit-native outreach content tailored to specific audiences

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts are currently created via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You agree not to create accounts by automated means, impersonate any person or entity, or provide false information during registration. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Access to RedLurk features is governed by a credit system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered tools:

• Discover (lead search) — 2 credits per run
• Forecast Trends — 2 credits per run
• Outreach AI — 1 credit per generation

Free plan: New users receive 5 one-time starter credits upon account creation. Free plan credits do not reset.

Monthly plan: Subscribers receive 3 lead searches per week (7 credits), resetting every 7 days. Unused credits do not carry over.

Yearly plan: Subscribers receive unlimited credits with no weekly cap, ever.

Lifetime plan: One-time payment grants unlimited credits with no restrictions.

All subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service itself beyond normal usage
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to generate spam, misleading content, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our express written permission
• Submit niches or content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful to others
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these acceptable use standards.

The Service accesses publicly available data from Reddit (“Third-Party Content”) to generate research reports. We do not claim ownership of this data. All Reddit content remains the property of its respective authors and is subject to Reddit’s own Terms of Service and content policies.

We access this data in accordance with Reddit’s publicly available APIs and scraping policies. We do not store raw Reddit content beyond what is necessary to complete a research run. RedLurk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc.

The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Reddit data is not guaranteed. Community sentiment and content can change rapidly, and research reports reflect a snapshot in time.

Reports, personas, outreach content, and forecasts produced by the Service are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. You should treat all AI output as a starting point for your own research and not as professional business, legal, financial, or marketing advice.

You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. We are not liable for any business decisions made based on research reports or forecasts generated by the Service.

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by RedLurk and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

Research reports and other outputs generated through your use of the Service may be used, shared, and repurposed by you freely for your own projects. You retain ownership of any original content you submit to the Service (such as niche descriptions you type in).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any research reports, forecasts, or AI-generated content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REDLURK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RedLurk and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, extended inactivity, or any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Active subscriptions cancelled by us will be prorated where required by law.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., via email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction. You waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.
